Just keep the discs clean from major debris and the lens will be. They can actually gather dust and scratch the lens.
I clean mine a lot as well, my pug likes to shed all over the place, make sure you're using compressed air and not an electric powered compressor as that can potentially discharge electricity into your system and cause issues. Lens cleaners are oft recommended against.
